What's Covered

The Manufacturer's Guarantee protects against genuine manufacturing defects that occur during normal domestic use.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Structural defects in bed frames and furniture.
  • Manufacturing defects in materials.
  • Faulty workmanship.
  • Defective hardware, fixings or fittings supplied with the product.
  • Mechanical faults with storage mechanisms.
  • Faults with electrical components on TV beds and electric adjustable beds.
  • Manufacturing faults affecting the normal function of the product.

Should a genuine manufacturing defect be confirmed, the manufacturer may choose to:

  • Repair the product.
  • Supply replacement parts.
  • Replace the affected item.
  • Offer an alternative solution where repair or replacement is not practical.

The remedy provided will always be appropriate to the nature of the fault and in accordance with your statutory rights.

What's Not Covered

The Manufacturer's Guarantee does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • General softening or settlement of upholstery, cushions or mattresses through normal use.
  • Cosmetic marks occurring after delivery.
  • Damage caused during assembly by the customer.
  • Improper installation.
  • Failure to follow care instructions.
  • Accidental damage.
  • Misuse or abuse.
  • Commercial or rental use.
  • Water damage.
  • Fire damage.
  • Flood damage.
  • Pet damage.
  • Cuts, scratches or stains.
  • Damage caused by moving or transporting furniture after delivery.
  • Natural fading caused by sunlight.
  • Products repaired or altered by unauthorised persons.
  • Consumable items where deterioration is expected through normal use.

Natural Characteristics

Many of our products are handcrafted using natural materials including wood, veneers, fabrics and leather.

The following are natural characteristics and are not considered manufacturing defects:

  • Variations in wood grain and knots.
  • Natural colour variation between timber panels.
  • Slight variations in upholstery fabric.
  • Minor differences in colour between product photography and the finished product.
  • Natural settlement of upholstery and cushions during the first few months of use.
  • Slight variations in dimensions within accepted manufacturing tolerances.

These characteristics help make every piece unique.

Mattress Guarantee

Mattresses naturally settle and soften during normal use.

This is a normal characteristic of all quality mattresses and should not be considered a manufacturing fault.

To maximise the life of your mattress we recommend:

  • Rotating your mattress regularly where applicable.
  • Using a suitable mattress protector.
  • Supporting the mattress on an appropriate bed base.
  • Following the manufacturer's care recommendations.

Body impressions that fall within the manufacturer's accepted tolerances are not considered defects.

Furniture Care

To help maintain your furniture and preserve its appearance for years to come, we recommend:

  • Following all care instructions supplied with your product.
  • Tightening bolts and fixings periodically.
  • Using furniture only for its intended domestic purpose.
  • Avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Protecting furniture from excessive moisture and humidity.
  • Using appropriate cleaning products for the material.
  • Avoiding placing hot objects directly onto furniture surfaces.

Proper care and maintenance can significantly extend the lifespan of your furniture.

Making a Manufacturer's Guarantee Claim

If you believe your product has developed a manufacturing fault, please contact our Customer Service Team as soon as possible.

To help us investigate your claim quickly, please provide:

  • Your order number.
  • Your full name and delivery postcode.
  • A detailed description of the issue.
  • Clear photographs showing the fault.
  • Any additional information that may assist our assessment.

In some circumstances, the manufacturer may request additional photographs or arrange an inspection before a decision is made.

Inspection & Resolution

Every claim is carefully assessed on an individual basis.

Where a genuine manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will work with the manufacturer to provide the most appropriate resolution.

Depending on the nature of the issue, this may include:

  • Replacement components.
  • Professional repair.
  • Collection and replacement.
  • Product exchange.
  • Alternative remedy where appropriate.

Any replacement parts or products supplied under the Manufacturer's Guarantee will continue under the original guarantee period and do not create a new guarantee.

Your Consumer Rights

Our Manufacturer's Guarantee is provided in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Nothing within this guarantee affects your statutory rights if goods are:

  • Faulty
  • Not of satisfactory quality
  • Not fit for purpose
  • Not as described

If your product develops a genuine fault, we will always work with you to achieve a fair and reasonable resolution.
